Allen Combs Stupidity

I find it very strange that a supposedly intelligent man would say,in essence that George Bush had no right to take us into a war in Iraq, because Iraq never attacked us. Either he is just plain stupid about the wars we got into and why we got into them, or his is just another Bush Hater. Allen, We were attacked in WWI, by the Germans, but not directly. President Wilson, explained to the nation that his reason for entering the war because of Germany's attacks on MERCHANT SHIPS--NOT, PER SE, OUR COUNTRY. getting INTO THE WAR WAS AND IS TO THIS DATE A CONTENTIOUS MATTER. I WWII, The attack on Pear Harbor was a sneak attack on our military base. Japan was eventually to become one of the Axis of three Nation; JAPAN, GERMANY AND ITALY. If we used your premise for going to war, only against countries that directly attack us--how is it we went to war Against Italy--it never attacked us directly. Also, Allen, when did North Korea attack us, on the home front, or for that matter did North Vietnam attack us on our home land Clintons War with Serbia, was a hoax--Serbia was no threat to this Nation or to NATO. STILL WE, UNDER THE CLINTON ADMINISTRATION BOMBED SERBIA UNMERCIFULLY FOR OVER 50 DAYS. The reason it became a NATO WAR ON SERBIA, BECAUSE WE WERE INFACT VIOLATING THE UNITED NAIONS DOCTRINE AGAINST INTERFERING IN THE AFFAIRS OF A SOVEREIGN NATION. Every war we entered into, in the 20th Century, was under a Democratic Presidency. George Bush in over a century, was the first RepublicAN president to enter into a war, and only after a direct attack on this nation, i.e, 9/11. No, IRAQ DID NOT DIRECTLY ATTACKTHIS NATION, BUT IT WAS ON A COURSE TO DO SO IN THE NEAR FUTURE. THE Claim that they did not have WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION - is not based on factual data showing that this was an absolute truth--and to this day, it is questionable. To only blame Bush for the war, is stupidity at best, as he could not have gone to war without the consent of the congress. Since Congress represents the people, we are as much at fault, if not more then Bush, we put the Congress in Place to represent us and it was this Representative body that lead us into the war. Wake-up, Smarten-up--don't be ignorant all your life! The Messenger.
