Today, we need a President like Truman

H.S. Truman, as President of the United States, in l945, knew that the Japanese were willing to commit mass suicide's if we attempt to land on their shores, and in this vain, he knew it would cost millions of our soldiers and in general,our military personnel lives. Today, we are once agonising with an enemy that thinks suicide is a heroic thing to do, as opposed to surrendering. Knowing this, Truman knew, in order to end the war with the least amount of lives lost and to achieve the desired victory in the final battle for the Japanese homeland, he had but one choice and knowing this in his hart; he made the decision to put an end to subject war and with a minimum lose of our military--he decided to use the ultimate weapon in our nations Arsenal--the Atomic bomb! In this respect he made his decision to drop the bombs on Hiroshima and as well Nagasaki, the result was one million eight hundred thousand Japanese lives lost but a final end to the war. In his thinking, I cannot help feeling his decisions was made out of a great love for his country and, as well, the lives of his countrymen. We are as capable of ending our present day war, in a manner not unlike Turbans. Yes,use every weapon in our munitions arsenal, to bring about the same results, Truman got!Ending the war by winning it and in doing so, stop the loss of life to our military personnel. The enemy we have today, is of the same mind set, as the Japanese--they also thought that suicide, for them, was a honorable way to die. LETS HONOR THEIR WISH--WE CANNOT ALLOW OUR MEN TO BE SLAUGHTERED. DAMMIT, WE CAN END THIS WAR IN DAYS--MOT MONTHS--WHAT WE NEED IS A LEADER WITH THE WILL TO WIN NOT TO APPEASE OR BE CONCERNED WHAT THE WORLD ThINKS OF US. HELL THEY DIDN'T COMPLAIN WHEN WE WERE SAVING THEIR ASSES, BUT TODAY, THEY THINK THEY ARE THE OWNERS OF THE HOLY GRAIL. YES WE CAN FIGHT AN DIE, BUT ONLY WHEN WE ARE DEFENDING THEM, THOSE THAT ARE ONLY NOW,IN THEIR MINDS, THE PURE AND JUST--Nuts! THE MESSENGER
