Total ignorance now prevalent in the nation. George Bush spending had nothing to do with our financial situation. It is a myth, that he caused the present condition by overspending. Let me remind the ignorant now prevalent in this country--that the President proposes, the congress deposes. Under the United States constitution the President cannot spend a signal dime, without the consent of the Congress. In the Bush administration and as well prior administrations, it is and will continue to be entitlements. which are now considered third rail or one can say the holy grail of spending. In the first year of the Bush Administration we were, for the most part, functioning under the last Clinton administrations budge. In the next 6 years of the Bush administration we had, thanks to tax cuts, 6 years of economic growth. In the years 2107-2008, the congress was controlled by the Democrats--it was a democratic congress in office, when the economic situation made a down turn into the toilet. At the end of the Bush Presidency, the final budget was 200 billion dollars. Today, under the Obama administration , this deficient is now 1.2 trillion dollars. This all happened while Obama and the Democrat socialists had control of both houses of congress. Wake up fool! THE MESSENGER
