Part 2. excerpts Cont'd Progressism

"... The social reform, and by extension its animating spirit socialism came to be reorganized as Progressive, i.e., on the side of progress...thus, an American Historian writing about the era of Franklin D. Roosevelt changes refers to the "necessity" for the regulation of their affairs by government, "the need for control." ...no Democrat has been elected to the Presidency in the 20th century, and it is doubtful that one has been nominated who held to the strict construction of the Constitution. Indeed, the Democrats have generally been at the forefront of the those ignoring restraints and using government to gradually move toward Socialism. ...a major innovation of progressism was the practice of the president taking the lead concerning, promoting and getting legislation through congress. ...A major device for asserting the leadership was through an elaborated program for reform and CHANGE, under some catchy tittle The Square Deal, The New Deal, the New Nationalism, (added The Great Society initiative). None of the Presidents (posing these concepts) professed to be Socialists, but such socialist conceptions as Social Responsibility for the well being of people, government control over the economy, and the Redistribution of wealth in very degrees, undergirded these programs. As one, who as read this outline for control of our government and the changing of our form government, cannot help to note that this is and has been for the Democratic Party, down through the years-- you cannot escape the fact for well over 100 years and more, has been the objective of the Socialist Democratic Party Today both Hillary and Obama, are two socialists personified and come election day, whichever one is selected by the Democratic Party to champion their cause must be, at the election box, held out as per-so'na non gra'ta. The 'CHANGE' Obama is advocating for is a Big Government Dominated Socialistic Party. This cannot be allowed! "Give us clear vision that we may know where to stand and what to stand for--because unless we stand for something we shall fall for anything." Peter Marshall The Messenger.
