The Dreaded "N" word...

A few days ago a black Congressman claims he was called "Nigger" and that really made him mad. I wonder why? Now, according to the Reader's Digest Oxford complete word finder (dictionary) defines the word NIGGER: 1.a a black man 2.a dark skinned person. a nigger in the woodpile, a hidden trouble or inconvenience. No, I, as a White man would also be mad if someone called me a black man--however a dark skinned person is not all that bad. Yes, the last thing I want to be called is a Black person. No, they are right, no black man should be called a nigger for even the mention of one being black is terrible. No we should use some of the other things that are offensive to them like being called a Spade, Or even Ace, or perhaps a hood, for those born in the hood, also rapper is fine. Yes the term Nigger, rightly so, should be considered offensive. HOW ABOUT WE USE THE WORD 'NIGGLING' after all no one has claimed, it to be offensive, for it only means: NIGGLING 1. TROUBLESOME, IRRITATING IN A PETTY WAY 2. FIND FAULT IN A PETTY WAY, TRIFLING, INSIGNIFICANT, PESKY NUGATORY TRIVIA, INSIGNIFICANT--AND ON AND ON. Now, by using the word niggling, we would avoid being harassed for calling a black man a nigger. Yep I can understand this, I have my feelings hurt when someone calls me whitey--I prefer being called a Caucasian--that, to me has a nice sounding ring in my ears, especially when a black may calls me DAT. Or better still let's do away with the dictionary and its use thereof, for it violates the law, by using some of the words therein, by some of the people who feel that they now have dictoreal powers, so that they can avoid getting their fellings hurt by being called a black man.
